Delivering experiences linking humans to nature ... this is the mission of Mer et Monde Ecotours. These moments of emotion and unique encounters are inspired by the salty air of the river, the granite rocks lined with conifers and the breath of the whales.
Over the past few years, minor and sometimes major changes have enabled us to fulfill this mission more and more. These changes, stemming from the creativity of the clientele and staff, are inspired by the magnificent site that makes up our work and living environment.
It is with deep respect and with the principles of authenticity, simplicity and integration with nature that we present to you the projects of improvements in progress. Hopefully they will please you as much as we do!
A reception area
Upon arrival on the site, a short detour will lead you to the new reception building, overlooking the Anse à la Cave. A community hall, a more spacious reception area and a beautiful terrace will already brighten your eyes when you arrive. For those who are familiar with the place, the reception will be located in the existing building behind the sanitary block. Space, warmth and light will welcome you!
Access to the site will be modified in order to improve safety and limit traffic, thus improving the tranquility of the premises.
New "refuge" units
You tested our new shelters last summer and after your comments and enthusiasm, five new units will be installed on the tip in late fall. According to our principle of site integrity, instead of further densifying the site, we will instead replace two campsites (14A and 9A) and three campsites (10, 14 and 18) whose topography allows the installation of shelters in a discreet way, bordered by the forest with a magnificent view.
